The basis is that only a few in the multiverse have the ability to soul-fuse, and Cross is not one of them. But thanks to Dream, he can !

Ramble under cut —

Meddle stems from an old concept I’ve had, of an error and ink fusion. That didn’t change, but the idea around it did.

In total only four Sanses can soul-fuse and make other soul-fuse,

Ink, Error, Dream and Nightmare.

The reason as to why is not really figured out yet, but it is here !

Star-Cross and Meddle both have individual traits and semblance of personality, but are nothing more than vessel for the recipient.

Star is called “The Ambitious”, and Meddle “The Perfectionist” due to their greatest characteristic as a fusion. Each fusion has their own title.

As a last note, any fusion with current Nightmare are highly unstable and dangerous due to the corruption.

There's a phenomenal that I don't know if it's a UT AU community only or not but the longer an au is out there's the more that au changes? Not that it changes but the fandom distorts the au to a point where that change is accepted as canon, Not by the creator of the au, but by the fandom. Error considered edgy or horror a cannibal, it's kinda cool when you think about it, but I think no au this phenomenal has happened this much as with PJ and Gradient

Why don't we play a little game? I'm gonna say two character descriptions and you guess which of these two I'm talking about.

One is a 14 year old and are basically the sans version of a DeviantArt kid, Taking this from their creators blog : "They can't help but create but everything they makes is never good enough or it looks terrible to them. so they will try to delete their work not long after with a few exceptions." And "they are like a 13 year old deviantart user that creates bad recolor characters for under novella and brags that their work is the best while hating it at the same time." they currently live in the omega timeline.

The other is a 24 year old, they should be 21 but they took 3 years to be born so they kinda jumped from 21 to 24, they can alter their form only slightly, for their personality their own creator described them as more monotoned, and less expressive/more serious, though they can open up to individuals over a long period of time, they are still curious about the world around them and can bring child like awe wonder/emotion to specific events/situations, they also do vent art and destroy it not long after.

And their most famous ship is with fresh...

IN WHAT WORLD IS GRADIENT 14?? AND WHAT EVEN CRAZIER WORLD IS PAPER JAM 24??? WHAT THE HELL IS UP WITH THAT? THE FANDOM TAUGHT ME PJ WAS A UWU BOI, NOT A DEPRESSED ONE. And I've dug deeper into it, I've dug through the wikis and you wanna know what I found? from the most famous of ink kids (those being Pallete, Gradient, Blueprint, Moku, Paper Jam, and Splatter) Paper jam would actually be the oldest of ink's kids, only losing to Rurik who's also 24 but Rurik is from an Underfell au which in turn makes him IRRELEVANT.

and not only that, gradient would be the penultimate of ink's children, only losing to Splatter who's 12 and maybe in some cases to blueprint considering he doesn't have a canon age and is just between 14-18 but his creator likes to think they are 17 so gradient continues to be the penultimate.

But not only that I have dug deeper, Turns out that gradient and splash are NOT ink's kids, THEY ARE ACTUALLY FUSIONS, GRADIENT HAS NEVER EVEN MET ERROR OR INK.

I feel cheated, I trusted the fandom, and turns out everything they told me was a LIE.

THE FANDOM HAS LIED, AND TRICKED US FOR YEARS AND YEARS AND WE NEVER EVEN SUSPECTED.

so you want to view normal undertale(/deltarune) content

this is mainly a place to put some of my blacklisted tags if anyone needs them.

if you're extremely new here, you probably noticed that the big undertale tags are dominated by content for aus that have moderate at best relevancy to the game and characters itself (dubbed "sans aus"). there also continues to be shameless posting of ships like fran.s and fontces.t. (if you're more interested in deltarune, good for you since those particular tags are a lot more usable and this guide won't be as helpful to you.)

first, i'd like to mention the safeutdr tag (also tagged "safe utdr"). it expressly forbids problematic ships, sexualization of underage characters, and portraying the human characters with yellow skin. it also happens to have minimal sans au content. the catch is that not everyone/everything that qualifies use the tag.

keep in mind that the canon relevancy of these aus is ultimately subjective. (underfell, glitchtale, and horrortale especially are not inherently sans-centric from what i've seen, and some people tag canon-adjacent AUs as "UTMV".). this is also a list made by someone who's gone out of her way to blacklist this stuff due to simple oversaturation since day one, so don't take my word as gospel wrt canon relevancy. i will occasionally update this list, so reblogs may be slightly outdated.

there is ultimately no guarantee that blacklisting these tags will purify your searches; some people are assholes that don't tag appropriately (especially those that gender frisk/kris/chara) or do so only with rare specific tags.

Greetings! Allow me to introduce myself. I go by Reverie but you can call me Rev. I'm a minor and I like to draw and write sometimes :3.

I like messing around with colors too though I like CMY(K) or any combination of blue, pink and yellow. My list of top five UTMV Characters goes as follows. 1. Ink (I like this little guy) 2. Core Frisk (I just think they're a bit underrated) 3. Paper Jam (Shipkids/Fusions are neat) 4. Chronicle (I bet you that you don't even know this guy. He's a really Obscure UTMV character that I just HCed this guy into oblivion.) 5. Dream and Nightmare (I think they're a bit tragic.) And I'm an Errorink shipper! I'm very particular about content about them though. My asks are open, I'm willing to answer questions and other stuff about my AUs or just general questions over all. :D Plus, I take art requests-- I'm sorry if I answer it late or in an art request's case, don't draw it at all. ⟡-- Guide to my AUs -- - -

Currently, there's only about two I have in my featured tags. #the storybook #mornverse Funny thing is that they used to be one AU but now I split them apart into their own stories. Remnants of that can be found in my blog so I think I tagged them with #Old TS and if it's tagged with #SCDverse, it's definitely an old iteration of the AU. Plus, I have a penchant to retcon lore for my AUs-- It's 60+ and counting at this point, I just don't talk much about them here unfortunately but I'm open to talking about them if you send me an ask. And all of my AUs contain Errorink because I am normal about them.

-- Mornverse is my own personal interpretation of UTMV, quite literally. I kind of examine my relationship as a Creator to my Creations. Plus some meta commentary about UTMV as a whole, I guess- It primarily centers Solstice (Ink) because Ink's my little guy. Also, I added just a lot of self-indulgent things to it. Like, really self-indulgent. Mpreg is canon and I take it seriously. I also keep retconning lore about it.

The Storybook is about a pair of kids, Sticker (Ink) and Stitch (Error) who travel from multiverse to multiverse together. Sticker's goal is to achieve the colors that he needs to gain new emotions and Stitch's goal is to impede that as he declares himself a "villain" and that Sticker is his "arch nemesis". And they get involved in a LOT OF HIJINKS. I throw them in a lot of situations, like throwing them in an FGOD Multiverse. Just a bunch of self-indulgent things. It's my AU and I get to do whatever I want.
